Article 1. Applicability
1.1. When entering Holiday Park Dierenbos and/or using facilities and services operated by Holiday Park Dierenbos, one accepts the applicability of these regulations and is obliged to strictly follow all instructions and directions given by the personnel of Holiday Park Dierenbos. In these regulations 'Holiday Park Dierenbos' and 'the park' also include the catering facilities, the outdoor grounds, the indoor and outdoor swimming pool, the play and fishing ponds, the indoor playground, the car parks, the bicycle shed and water features.
1.2. For all cases and/or situations not provided for in these regulations, Holiday Park Dierenbos reserves the right to lay down verbally and/or in writing additional rules to which guests are bound.
1.3. In all cases where the RECRON conditions and/or these rules of conduct do not provide conditions and/or rules, Holiday Park Dierenbos is entitled to set additional rules to which the guests are bound. In case of conflict between the provisions of the RECRON conditions and these park regulations, the regulations are leading.
1.4. All guests must comply with the rules and the General Conditions established by Holiday Park Dierenbos. You can obtain the regulations from reception on arrival. When you and/or your guests are on the grounds of one of Libéma's other parks, the conditions of the park in question apply. You can obtain these free of charge from reception at the park in question.
1.5 Obvious printing and typesetting errors do not bind Holiday Park Dierenbos. These regulations supersede all previous publications. The invalidity and/or nullity of one of the individual provisions of these regulations and/or parts thereof does not affect the validity of the remaining (parts of) provisions of these regulations. Amendments and additions to the agreement and/or regulations shall only be valid if they are made in writing. The present legal relationship between the parties (and therefore also these regulations) is exclusively governed by Dutch law.
Article 2. Entry and stay
2.1 It is not allowed to be present in the park without a valid entry ticket and/or without being registered at the reception, with the exception of day guests who do not stay overnight. Day guests (see 2.3) must leave the park before midnight. Pets of day guests and pets of lodgers are not allowed. If you do not use the automatic arrival, you must report to reception upon arrival at the park.
2.2 Upon request, identification may be requested from all guests. If your license plate is not yet registered and/or you are not yet in possession of the Attractions pass or Access pass, you must report to reception. The attractions pass gives you free unlimited access to Libéma's theme parks and the indoor swimming pool during your stay. The access pass gives you free access to the indoor pool of Dierenbos and Speelland Beekse Bergen during your stay. Attractions and access passes are personal and non-transferable.
2.3 All guests staying overnight in the accommodation must be registered when making the reservation. Should you wish to receive a lodger during your stay, you must register this lodger at reception and pay the extra person rate and local taxes per person per stay in advance. Guests visiting for one day only (day visitors) may purchase an access pass accompanied by an adult resident guest with which they can gain entry to the outdoor pool and play pond and take part in the recreational programme.
2.4 Holiday Park Dierenbos reserves the right to make changes to the set-up and opening hours of the facilities and/or accommodation of Holiday Park Dierenbos. Holiday Park Dierenbos reserves the right to carry out necessary maintenance to the accommodation and/or other facilities during the stay without being obliged to any compensation.
2.5 Swimming or other types of water sports/recreation are not permitted in the park’s water features. With the exception of the Playpond, where swimming is permitted.
2.6 Holiday Park Dierenbos is authorised to close (a) part(s) of the park and facilities, without being liable to pay any compensation to its guests.
2.7 Swimming is permitted only in the designated areas. Children up to 7 years old may only enter the indoor pool and the indicated swimming areas under the supervision and guidance of an adult (at least 18 years old and in possession of a swimming certificate). Children without a valid swimming certificate are obliged to wear buoyancy aids and must always be supervised by an adult (at least 18 years old and in possession of a swimming certificate). At the swimming pool, the indicated swimming areas and the various attractions, (safety) regulations are listed. These regulations must be strictly observed.
2.8 The barrier works on license plate recognition. The barriers close very quickly. Please wait to continue driving until the traffic light is green. In case of abuse, misbehaviour and/or payment problems, access to the premises by car will be denied.
2.9 Cars should be used as little as possible on the park. The maximum permitted speed within the park is 10 km per hour. After 24.00 hours, motorised traffic is not allowed in the park, with the exception of emergency services and the Technical Service of Holiday Park Dierenbos. Guests wishing to leave the park before 06.00 should park their car on the car parks outside the barriers.
2.10 Driving motorbikes, mopeds and motor-assisted bicycles should be limited as much as possible. The use of a trike, electric scooter, quad, segway, fatbike and the like is not permitted on the grounds of Holiday Park Dierenbos.
2.11 Without prior permission from the management of Holiday Park Dierenbos, freight traffic is not allowed on the park.
2.12 If, in the opinion of the management of Holiday Park Dierenbos, the condition of the grounds is not in order (e.g. due to exceptionally heavy rainfall), it reserves the right to prohibit motorised traffic on the grounds.
2.13 You should dispose of your household waste in sealed bags in the waste disposal area at the exit of the park, there is also a glass container and a paper container available. Batteries can be handed in at reception. If illegal dumping is observed, it will be reported to the police and the renter in question will be denied further access to the park. The costs associated with cleaning up this waste will be recovered from the offender.
2.14 Open fire, garden stoves, fire pots etc. are prohibited at all times. With the exception of the fire pit at experience campsite De Vuurvlinder. Barbecuing on the camping pitches and near the rental accommodation is permitted except in extreme weather conditions (from code orange for wind or drought). Please bear in mind the safety of you and your fellow guests. Make sure you always have a bucket of water nearby! Gourmetting is not allowed in the Edelhert accommodation.
2.15 Technical faults can be reported, during office hours, to the reception desk. Outside office hours, the service department will be called until 22.00 hours at the latest. Faults after 22.00 hours will be dealt with the next day from reception opening time. Except for emergencies.
2.16 Permanent occupation of the camping and/or rental accommodation on the park is prohibited.
Article 3. Safety and liability
3.1 Visiting Holiday Park Dierenbos takes place entirely at your own risk. Our guests must behave correctly and in no way cause nuisance to others. To this end, they must in any case comply with the RECRON conditions and these rules of conduct. Offences will be reported to the police.
3.2 In case of violation of the regulations and/or failure to follow instructions of the personnel, Holiday Park Dierenbos has the right to gain access to the rental accommodation and/or to immediately remove you and any other guest from the park, without restitution of the rent or part thereof and/or entitlement to any other compensation.
3.3 If Holiday Park Dierenbos has serious suspicion that the guest of an accommodation is acting in contravention of the law and/or public order and/or good morals, Holiday Park Dierenbos is entitled to deny you access to the park and the accommodation without restitution of paid rent. The management of Holiday Park Dierenbos reserves the right to call in the police;
3.4 Force majeure on the part of Holiday Park Dierenbos exists if the execution of the agreement is prevented in whole or in part, temporarily or otherwise, by circumstances beyond the control of Holiday Park Dierenbos, including threat of war, (personnel) strikes, blockades, fire, pandemic, flooding and other disturbances or events.
3.5 Holiday Park Dierenbos is entitled to deny access to the park to overnight and/or day guests whom it considers or fears to disturb the order, peace and/or safety within the park, without being obliged to pay any compensation. If the rented accommodation or camping pitch is not vacated on time, it will be cleared by Holiday Park Dierenbos at the expense and risk of the renter. This also applies to incorrect placement of a camping means.
3.6 The holiday guest is responsible and liable for the behaviour of and all injury and/or damage caused by him, his travel companions, day guests and/or lodgers to persons and/or property of our park and/or third parties. Day guests and/or accommodation guests who act unlawfully in relation to (employees of) the park and/or cause damage to park property will be held liable and the damage will be recovered from them.
3.7 Within Holiday Park Dierenbos it is not permitted:
a. Entering facilities/spaces and amenities that are not currently open to the public;
b. Possessing weapons or other, in the opinion of the management of Holiday Park Dierenbos, dangerous objects. The management of Holiday Park Dierenbos reserves the right to confiscate these objects and to call in the police;
c. Using, carrying or trafficking narcotics both soft and hard drugs. Violation results in immediate and permanent disqualification from our premises. The management of Holiday Park Dierenbos reserves the right to confiscate these substances and calling in the police;
d. Setting off fireworks;
e. To fish on the park, with the exception of the fishing pond near accommodations Damhert.
3.8 Fishing in the fishpond is allowed, provided no nuisance is caused to fellow guests. Fishing from places located between accommodations is not allowed. A National fishing pass is required.
3.9 You are responsible for having the valid travel documents required for your destination. Holiday Park Dierenbos accepts no liability for the consequences of not having the correct travel documents.
3.10 Within the park, you may go near the animals present. Please note that the animals may display unpredictable behaviour which may cause you injury or damage to your property. By entering the park, you accept this risk. It is also strictly forbidden to feed the animals unless otherwise stated. An exception is during the animal visit, under supervision.
3.11 Holiday Park Dierenbos accepts no liability for personal injury and/or theft, loss, missing or damage to property of any kind, occurring during and/or as a result of a stay at Holiday Park Dierenbos and/or the rental/use of accommodation and/or other facilities, a visit to the park (such as injury or damage caused by the animals present in the park or occurring during the use of the park's play equipment and attractions or entering the swimming pool and/or designated swimming areas except insofar as arising from intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of (the management of) Holiday Park Dierenbos or (one of its) employees.
3.12 Holiday Park Dierenbos is not liable for service disruptions or defects in services provided by third parties.
3.13 Holiday Park Dierenbos is not liable for consequential damage, including trading loss and loss of income. Furthermore, Holiday Park Dierenbos is in no case liable for damage for which there is a claim to compensation under the terms of travel and/or cancellation insurance or any other insurance and/or regulation. In so far as the Holiday Park Dierenbos is not entitled to invoke the above limitations of liability, its liability shall be limited to the amount paid out under its liability insurance in the case in question, plus the amount of the excess.
Article 4. Image and/or sound recordings
4.1 Holiday Dierenbos can have video and/or audio recordings made of its park and of guests in or around the park. Holiday Park Dierenbos and its associated companies are entitled to use and publish these recordings, for example for promotional purposes. Obviously Holiday Park Dierenbos and its affiliated companies will take the necessary care. Holiday Park Dierenbos and its affiliated companies owe no compensation for the use and publication of the recordings to the depicted guests. If you do not want to be in the picture, avoid the places where you see a filmmaker, film crew and / or photographer at work.
4.2 It is not permitted to make sound, photo and/or film recordings or other visual material for commercial purposes on the park, unless written permission has been obtained from the General Manager of Holiday Park Dierenbos.
4.3 Use of sound equipment is not allowed. Between 22.30 - 07.30 there should be silence in the park, so that all guests can enjoy an undisturbed night's sleep. If you do not follow the instructions of the personnel, Holiday Park Dierenbos will be entitled to immediately remove you and any other guests from the park and/or inform the police, without restitution of the rent or part thereof and/or entitlement to any other compensation.
4.4 The use of a drone on Holiday Park Dierenbos is prohibited for safety and privacy reasons.
Article 5. Accommodations and pitches
5.1 Accommodations may accommodate a maximum number of guests, as described on the website for the accommodation in question. A maximum number of six persons per pitch, with the exception of pitch Rabbit. This is subject to the maximum number of eight people.
5.2 The guests (for this provision also includes day guests and lodgers) are severally liable for an orderly course of affairs in and around the rented accommodation or elsewhere on the grounds of the Holiday Park Dierenbos, use of the accommodation and the equipment and inventory present therein. In addition, guests are always severally liable for damage due to breakage and/or loss and/or damage of inventory and/or accommodation. Any damage must be immediately reported by the guest to the reception of the Holiday Park Dierenbos and immediately compensated on the spot, unless the guest can prove that the occurrence of the damage is not due to fault of himself or the other guests.
5.3 Accommodations and indoor facilities of Holiday Park Dierenbos are smoke-free and smoking in/on these places is strictly prohibited.
5.4 For tourist camping the rate includes: two persons, the placement of one camping unit (caravan/folding camper/tent), one small additional tent (max. 5 m²) and one car (if in the opinion of the management of Holiday Dierenbos possible). For extra persons you pay a person rate and tourist tax.
5.5 Double-axle caravans/campers are not allowed on the park. One caravan with a maximum length of 7.75 metres may be placed per pitch. Build up as indicated by the available pitch number signs. Campers may only be placed with the back side facing the planting strip. The distance between the planting strip and the rear of the camping means must be 50 cm (more or less is not permitted). Storing items behind the camping equipment is prohibited. The path of 50 cm must be kept clear at all times. The planting strip is not part of the pitch and may not be used as such. The pitch must be laid out in such a way that the neighbouring pitches can be reached by car and caravan and are not obstructed in any way. Digging gutters and trenches is not permitted. One awning is allowed per pitch. Party tents are allowed but not in combination with an awning.
5.6 No (additional) camping equipment may be placed at any of the rental accommodations. Placing marquees, bar furniture, canopies, playground equipment, swimming pools, etc. for personal or general use is not permitted.
5.7 A maximum of one car may be parked at rental accommodation (if possible). Other cars, should be parked in the car park near the main entrance.
5.8 Parking on or along the roads is not permitted. Vehicles parked outside the designated areas will be removed at the expense and risk of the vehicle owner. A tow-away regulation applies on the park. Holiday Park Dierenbos is not liable for theft and/or damage to the car parked on a parking space of Holiday Park Dierenbos.
5.9 Trailers with boats, trailers and the like may not be parked on the pitches or near the rental accommodation.
5.10 Pets are not allowed in most rental accommodation. On the camping pitches, pets (max. two pets per pitch) are only allowed on the camping fields designated for this purpose. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and let out outside the Dierenbos premises or near the dog toilet. Pets are not allowed in the main building and near the playpond. Pets belonging to day guests and/or lodgers are not allowed.
5.11 The toilet blocks in the park are cleaned and disinfected very regularly, this may involve waiting times. Children under the age of eight, are not allowed to enter the toilet blocks unaccompanied by an adult. In the early and late season, certain parts of the toilet blocks may be closed.
5.12 The water provided is for domestic use only. The taps provided on the premises are only intended for tapping drinking water. It is forbidden to discharge waste water into plant strips. Waste water must be disposed of in the designated place in the toilet blocks. It is not permitted to wash cars or caravans in the park.
5.13 The rental accommodation, pitches and surroundings must be kept clean. Trees, bushes, lawns and other items must not be damaged. It is not permitted to place lines between or in combination with trees and/or vegetation (for drying laundry, for example).
5.14 In case of failure to leave your accommodation properly, excessive pollution and/or damage to accommodation and/or to goods located therein and/or pollution and/or damage to the grounds/area of the park, Holiday Park Dierenbos will immediately charge the guest for the damage, which should be paid for immediately.
5.15 For heating and/or cooking, it is strictly forbidden to use fuels other than butane or propane gas stored in approved tanks and/or gas cylinders. A maximum of two bottles and/or one tank with a total maximum capacity of 60 litres is allowed per camping pitch.
5.16 Your electrical installation on the campsite must comply with the specified safety regulations. Max take-up is 6Amp and on XL pitches 16Amp.
Article 6. Comments and additional rules
6.1 Commercial activities other than those of Holiday Park Dierenbos on the park, in any form, are not permitted. Plaques and other signs are not permitted.
